Custom Street Pole Banners - Custom Feather Flags

Friday, December 18, 2015
Every American is generally proud to showcase the American flag during big parties and national holidays.
There is actually a right way to display and raise the flag. There are also rules on how to fold and dispose of old banners. When you visit a convention or summit, you have to look for the right spot to display the flag. Notice how organizations showcase the national flag. It is generally positioned at the right side and if there are other banners in the room, these are placed on different poles but never higher than the American flag.

About the presentation, the American flag should always be at the right side of the stage. If you are looking at the audience from the top of the stage, the flag should be at your right side or the left of the audience. The wrong way to display the flag is to hang it upside down or letting the banner touch the floor.

If you notice an erroneous presentation of the national banner, you have to lay it out on a six foot table. You may also tell the venue staff to hang the flag properly, instead of letting it be seen in an inappropriate manner. When folding or bringing down the flag, the material should never get in touch with the floor. Attach the flag properly on the pole and ensure that the rope does not get in the way of the banner. The stars should be on the top side while the flag should fly freely without any obstruction.
