There are a number of items to be familiar with when decorating for national holidays. A half fan in flag bunting is frequently seen during special days like Memorial Day, Independence Day, Election Day and Veterans Day, among others. The colorful materials, the folds and curves, the fan buntings and other decors may appear complicated, but you can actually learn how to make these over time. Prepare a pair of scissors, a sewing kit and machine and other related items that you might wish to add to make the project more beautiful. When making a funeral bunting flag, the approach is generally the same, but you have to follow a few guidelines to come up with the flag.
First of all, determine the proper width of the funeral bunting flag. The base of all your measurements will depend on the width. For instance, if you have a width of 30 inches, your base number should also be 30. The panel width must be half of the base number, in this case, 15. Also, the length of the panel must be the same or 15.
The strips of cloth can be divided depending on the width of the panel. If you have a panel width of 15 inches, you can prepare five pieces or strips, with each measuring 3 inches. You might also have to add an inch of seam allowance to each strip of fabric. You can cut five strips, with each measuring 4 inches wide. All the strip colors will make up your overall design.

When you wish to remember a special friend or family member after they passed away, you can make a funeral bunting flag to decorate the place as well as say goodbye in the best way.
Prepare strips of cloth then sew the strips together to the other strips. Leave seams of about half an inch. Hem the sides of the finished panel then fold the end below the ones measuring one-fourth inch only. Start sewing a seam along the fold to put the ends together.
Position the panel on an ironing board then flatten the seams by pressing on these. You can opt to place the right side up by flipping the panel over. Also look for the number to split the panel instrument into equal sections. Check and measure the length too. The panel must be 45 inches in length with every section measuring five inches.
Make sharp folds by spraying all the panels. The funeral bunting flags should have one side that is folded and leaving a five-inch gap. A sharp crease can be made using an iron. The material should also be folded back to the panel side. Continue folding back until everything is finished and all the panel length is creased accordingly.
The folded fans may not be placed together and the layers put back to the original position. Ask for help from assistants or make it a fun activity with children. Put a needle through the folded fans then insert the threads to come up with the final result.
