Such is what can be expected when visiting one of Mexico’s alluring places, the City of Puebla.  The city boasts of exciting tourist destinations. One of its riveting treasures is its architecture, radiating the city’s colonial charisma. The city has truly preserved its hold on its days of yore as it is a haven for travelers who find it their Shangri-la to be able to visit sacred sites and significant historic places. Some of the city’s popular attractions include Zocalo, Templo de San Francisco, Templo de Santo Domingo, Los Fuertes or Fuerte de Loreto, Palafoxian Library and Fuerte de Guadalupe.

Going to Puebla is a breeze as one can travel to the city by bus from Mexico City, as the city lies close to this  Mexico’s capital. The city has good connections with some other cities in Mexico. Varied means of transport is also available to the eager tourist. Backpackers from all over the globe land on different airports in Mexico city getting to Puebla, as these cities have exceptional bus services. Tourists can traverse in either of the two terminal stations – Estrella Roja’s  Poniente and Centro de Autobuses Puebla. Getting around the city can be via buses and taxis.

The city of Puebla is also dotted with hotels within its historic center. Tourists have the option in immersing themselves in history by staying in a number of the city’s hotels with colonial demeanor in them  or  feast their senses to the leisure of fashionable modern structural designs of other hotels.  A place to stay is never a problem in Puebla.


Puebla exudes the charm of its history and is truly a city that gives pride and honor to the Mexican Flag.  Vacationers are not only treated to its cuisine and abundant historical infrastructures but to embark on a travel that leaves an indelible mark to the memory as well.
