star. The banner was used to represent the forefathers of Morocco.
In 1915, the country changed government and Mulay Yusuf became the
nation’s leader. Yusuf chose to add the Seal of Solomon on the banner,
which was green and bright. The seal looked like an interlaced star.
The Seal of Solomon has six points at first and was also called the
Star of David. During World War I, the flag was changed to feature
only five points.
