Custom Street Pole Banners - Custom Feather Flags

Friday, January 17, 2014
Throughout the years, custom flags have been frequently used for
different purposes. With the usual analysis and actual trial and
error, man has found ways in making these flags become more durable,
resilient, and efficient in their intended purpose. No wonder flags
have been with man since the start of communication and civilization.

From basic flag display, there came banners and streamers which are
variants of the former and they have been used as indoor materials for
information and identification of bearers. One of the most common uses
for indoor banners and flags are those coat of arms or family crests.
These hold a special meaning especially to the family that bears it,
proudly hanging these in their living rooms or hallways.

Even smaller corners or nooks in the indoor setting didn't hinder flag
makers and designers to utilize the available space, creating exact
shapes which would fit in these corners quite effectively. This gave
rise to the odd shapes of triangles, inverted pyramids, and even
circular shaped designs, with the last one probably suited window
sills better.

Outdoor flags have been used in a variety of ways. From the military
oriented use, custom flags have been lately utilized for more peaceful
means such as sports, commerce, and industry. For instance, even golf
make good use of flags to mark the hole to which golfers ought to
place their ball in the fewest number of strokes. Even in downhill
slaloms during the Winter Olympics make excellent markers of
triangular flags to signal skiers of checkpoints and designated
pathways. Not only do these modified flags provide color and vibrance

to exciting events, but also safety and injury prevention.
