Custom twirler flags have become very common decorative pieces for races and corporate events. Other effective uses for the flags include sprucing up competitions and tournaments. There are several contests where these flags can be found like speech choir, declamation, debate and extemporaneous speaking. If you're considering setting up a speech contest, try to invest in stylish twirler flags. You will find that there are plenty of uses for these.

Many speech contests are done with a time limit. For instance, contestants are provided 15 minutes to prepare before a round of debate or 3 minutes to prepare for a round of extemporaneous speaking. A twirler flag can be used to indicate if 1 minute is left to speak and another flag to end the round.

Custom twirler flags can also be used creatively to send commands to viewers of the contest. Choose a number of colors to represent every contestant so that the crowd can cheer on their favorite when the corresponding flag is raised. Marked flags are also very useful to tell the audience when it's time to cheer and applaud and when they should quiet down. The flag can also be used to tell the audience that they are already too noisy or if it's a contestant's turn to speak. During speech contests, the contestant has to be heard and undisturbed.

Finally, custom twirler flags can function to grab attention and to indicate. Some contests can be interactive and require the contestants to raise the flag first before they can answer or say something. The twirler flags will be very useful to obviously show who would go first.
